Made of amercian hickory with a wooden tip, these are a great value for the beginning player or musician on a budget. Get Vic Firth quality at an extremely affordable price.
Why are these cheaper than the Vic Firth American classic? This is because the timber used for Nova sticks is rejected before manufacture. The reason is often the moisture content is too high and the wood grain may be darker. Once the timber is seperated for the two stick types the same manufacturing process is followed.
